Built in 1890 by George Appleton, this Victorian Inn was home to one of Montana's first Dentists - Dr. John V. Cole and family.

In 1990, Cheryl and Tom extensively researched and renovated the home, being careful to maintain the unique character of the original structure.  As a result, the Appleton Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and provides a taste of Victorian elegance in a Big Sky Montana setting to all who come to visit.

Wolf Creek is ranked by many as one of the top courses in Canada.  Its 27 exciting holes were designed by Rod Whitman and are grouped as three separate courses (allowing three different 18 hole rotations).  Whitman set out to design a links style course in the old country tradition of Scotland.  The result is a course that presents the golfer with a fair set of shot tasks and one that doesn't go out of its way to defeat the golfer.  Players are treated to a memorable golf experience that rewards consistent play and imaginative solutions.

One of the more difficult situations golfers will face comes on the West Course's 4th hole.  This 385 yard par four features a nail-biting approach shot to a green protected on three sides by a small pond.

Wolf Creek also possesses a first class golf school that offers one and two day packages, including CPGA professional instruction, video swing analysis and, of course, practice rounds on this fantastic course.

Wolf Creek is affiliated with the Wolf Creek Inn, a five minute drive south on Highway 2.  Golf packages are available (call 403-782-4716 for information).
